The Clinical Specialist Consultant will work under the supervision of the Clinical Outcomes Team on a contract basis. In this role you will provide educational and sales support in the implementation of the Kurin product portfolio, and blood culture collection best practices.

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Providing product and disease state education to clinicians (RNs, Phlebotomists, EMTs, MDs) in acute care settings
  • Support sales activities through clinical audits, inventory tracking, product stocking support, product compliance follow up, etc.

Candidate preferences:

  • Minimum credentials required for the Clinical Specialist Consultant position are RN or CLS.
  • Work history of at least one year in an acute care hospital setting, emergency department or critical care experience is preferred
  • Experience in clinical education and/or training

Prospective hire needs to know:

  • This position will require the team member to travel both locally and nationally
  • This position is a contract position with no weekend or holiday obligations, and no minimum hour obligation
  • Kurin does not provide any guaranteed minimum hours

    The Territory Manager will report into the Regional Vice President. They will promote Kurin’s products and services to a variety of markets, primarily hospitals and medical distributers. This could also include medical centers and doctors’ practices. The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing and developing business relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and clinics within a designated territory. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of the medical device industry. The Territory Manager will drive sales growth, educate customers on product features and benefits, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.

    Responsibilities:

    • Sales and Territory Management
      • Achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory
      • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive market penetration and revenue growth
      • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new customers and markets
      • Plan and execute a territory business plan to achieve sales goals and objectives
      • Manage and optimize the territory’s resources, including time, budget, and materials
      • Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback
      • Become a subject matter expert on Kurin products and their application
    • Customer Relationship Management
      • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including surgeons, physicians, and hospital administrators
      • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to educate customers on product features, benefits, and usage o Provide timely and accurate information to customers regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery
      • Develop relationships with key personnel within hospitals and Kurin device users
    • Product Knowledge and Training
      • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product portfolio and competitive products
      • Provide training and support to healthcare professionals on the proper use of medical devices
      • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
      • Attend local and regional trade shows, as required
      • Attend and participate in business review meetings and discussions, as required

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the medical device industry
    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
    • Experience in managing a sales territory and developing new business
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals
    • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
    • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed
    • Valid driver’s license

      Vice President, Marketing
      The Vice President of Marketing will be a key leader at Kurin driving the strategic marketing vision for the Kurin products, customers, clinical investments and sales force direction. The Vice President of Marketing reports into the Chief Commercial Officer and will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive marketing strategies that effectively position our product portfolio within the acute care market. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively influence stakeholders , engage customers, connect with field sales, and can drive business growth.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Strategic Leadership
        • Establish and maintain a close and respectful relationship with sales leadership
        • Develop and execute a product marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall mission, strategic plan and sales objectives
        • Lead the creation and communication of product positioning, value propositions, and go-to-market strategies
        • Balance the need for attaining short-term revenue goals by utilizing strategic insight into the success of Kurin’s long-term goals
      • Market Analysis, Research and Data
        • Works closely with both end-user customers and field sales to understand their needs and wants
        • Skilled at identifying opportunities for new product development and enhancements to existing products
        • Understands how to use data to guide product strategy that leads to customer success
        • Successful at KOL relationships to guide clinical investment decisions, speaker opportunities and clinical outcomes that drive growth
      • Product Management
        • Expert product and technical knowledge and a complete understanding of the clinical and field sales environment
        • Oversee all aspects of product launches, product training, product positioning and product demands
        • Maintains accountability to manage and grow product profitability through effective controls and communication with senior management and field sales leadership
      • Customer Engagement
        • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, industry experts, and thought leaders
        • Engage with sales team and customers to gather feedback and insights that drive product decisions and marketing strategies
        • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
      • Collaboration and Communication
        • Serve as a key liaison between field sales, sales management, manufacturing, R&D, regulatory and executive leadership to ensure alignment on product strategy and execution
        • Communicate product marketing strategies and results to senior leadership and the broader organization

      Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related fields
      • 5+ years of experience in product marketing in the consumable medical device industry
      • 5+ years of experience in sales and marketing in a leadership role within the medical device industry is highly preferred
      • Proven track record of success in field sales and/or sales management with medical devices in the acute care market
      • Strong understanding of the acute care environment, including regulatory requirements, clinical practices, and hospital decision-making processes
      • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies
      • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
      • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
      • Willingness and expectation to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend industry events, and collaborate with team members across different locations
